Eclectic Musical Mix
« Out Of tends towards the eclectic mix of instruments, musical influences and arts. »
Imagine the scene.
A saxophone and a piano cross each other on the boards of a concert hall. At first sight, an innocuous encounter.
The musical dialogue begins.
The saxophone starts to play and there’s the surprise; a SABA melody escapes. Even its sound seems different, more oriental. The piano responds with Western harmonies, with Eastern Europe rhythm. Gradually, these 3 cultures are in perfect symbiosis and the instruments now speak only the same language in this original piece.
The sax has been modified by a luthier to meet the requirements of the oriental chant – a first !This event – exceptional in world music – is the result of the creativity of the artists, Marina Trode and Suzon Durdan, the daring of their vision, their desire for a coming together.

Why connect artistic disciplines ?
Perhaps because Art, a multi-sided summit, is transdisciplinary. .
Universal.
Otherwise, how do you explain how exploration of one discipline – painting, for example – can lead to progress in another – such as music?
Or that the mastery of an instrument like the darbuka can help the piano cross over thresholds?
As if all these disciplines were connected by a mysterious secret.
A mystery we unveil during our concerts.
